The principal of a government girls' school in Jind district, Haryana, has been suspended following allegations of sexual harassment by female students. The students have reportedly written letters to the Prime Minister's Office and National Commission for Women detailing their experiences. An inquiry committee, headed by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, has been formed to investigate the allegations. The accused principal has been suspended pending the outcome of the investigation. The students have alleged that the principal engaged in obscene acts.
