Delhi Police on Sunday served a fresh notice to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his remark during the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Srinagar that “women are still being sexually assaulted”. A team led by special commissioner of police (law and order) Sagar Preet Hooda, visited Gandhi’s residence at 12, Tughlaq Lane around 10am and asked him to provide details of the sexual abuse survivors he had claimed to have met during the yatra. “We served a notice, which was accepted by his office,” said Hooda.
