A day after Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra made controversial comments on Goddess Kali, Madhya Pradesh police on Wednesday booked her for hurting religious sentiments. Several police complaints were also filed against her by BJP supporters in West Bengal even as her party reiterated that it did not approve of her comments and it was for her to deal with the police action.
