On the occasion of the 91st anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi’s Dandi March, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday highlighted India’s journey towards “atmanirbharta (self-reliance)” from the charkha to the vaccine as he launched the “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav”, the government’s initiative to mark 75 years of the country’s Independence.
