Amid rising concerns about false negatives in results of rapid antigen tests to detect Covid-19, leading to asymptomatic cases being missed, the Centre on Tuesday said chances were high that such a person would also test negative if subjected to an RT-PCR test. This reduces the scope of a significant number of infections being undetected.
