Locusts attack: Swarms reach Gurgaon

Swarms of locusts attacked several areas in Gurgaon on Saturday catching residents off guard. The city administration had issued a warning on Friday of a possible attack by the crop-eating desert locusts, after a swarm was sighted in the Mahendragarh district. The administration had issued advisory for residents to keep their doors, windows shut and keep utensils handy to make loud noise in an event of an attack.
