The Supreme Court said that there was a lack of professionalism on part of Delhi police in handling the violence and questioned Centre for not taking steps to allow the police to work professionally. "These things would not have happened had police not allowed instigators to get away. It is for law enforcing agency to ensure the environment is conducive," the SC said.
