Lt Gen P N Hoon, who led 'Operation Meghdoot' to capture Siachen Glacier, dies

Lt Gen Hoon was one of the most senior military veterans in the country. Lt Gen Hoon had led Operation Meghdoot, the code-name for the Indian Armed Forces operation to capture the Siachen Glacier in the Kashmir region.
