Since 1993, Ayodhya on December 6 has looked much the same every year. While the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and supporters would celebrate the demolition of Babri Masjid as ‘Shaurya Diwas’ (day of bravery), Ayodhya’s Muslims would dub the day ‘Yaum-e-Gham’ (day of sorrow).
