Number of beneficiaries of PM-Kisan to reach 2 crore by March 5, Centre alerts states on cash transfer to non-eligible farmers

The number of beneficiaries, receiving the first instalment of Rs 2,000 each under the Centre’s assured income support scheme, will reach 2 crore by Tuesday with states and UTs, barring West Bengal and Delhi, gradually sharing verified details of eligible farmers with the Centre.
