A Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist, who had joined the outfit barely 20 days ago, was killed in an encounter in south Kashmir’s Shopian district early Friday. In another anti-terror operation, a joint team of security forces apprehended a LeT terrorist with a hand grenade and 29 rounds of 7.62mm calibre from Shopian’s Mujhmarg Junction later in the day.​
